NFL Big Pick'em ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our private NFL prediction game platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only the data necessary to operate the Service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your Username, Email address, and Password. Your email address is used for account verification and password recovery.

Room & Gameplay Data

  • Weekly game predictions and any optional modifiers selected
  • Win/loss records and points within each Room you join
  • Room membership (which Rooms you've joined, your role — player or Commissioner)

Technical Data & Analytics

We automatically collect limited technical information, including IP address, browser type, device information, and error logs, to maintain security and reliability. We use Google Analytics to understand how our Service is used. For more information on how Google collects and uses data, please visit Google's Privacy Policy.

Payment Information

Payment processing is not yet live on the Service. When Room creation requires payment, that payment will be processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our own servers — Stripe handles that directly. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by its own Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your user account
  • Operate gameplay features, scoring, and standings within your private Rooms
  • Communicate essential service-related messages (e.g. account verification, password resets, security alerts)
  • Detect fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms and Conditions
  • Maintain site reliability, security, and performance
  • Understand aggregate site usage via Google Analytics

NFL Big Pick'em does not sell or rent your personally identifiable information.

4. Room Privacy & Data Sharing

Unlike public leaderboard products, NFL Big Pick'em Rooms are private by default. Your username, predictions, and results are visible only to other members of the specific Room(s) you've joined — never to the public, and never to members of a Room you haven't joined.

Third-Party Service Providers we rely on:

  • A third-party NFL data provider, used only to retrieve public game schedules, kickoff times, and scores — this does not involve sharing any of your personal data.
  • Our hosting provider, to run the Service.
  • Google Analytics, for aggregate usage data (see Section 2).
  • Stripe, once payment processing is live, for handling payment transactions.

These providers process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

NFL Big Pick'em is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@nflbigpickem.com and we will delete it as promptly as we can. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may use the Service — including joining or creating a Room and paying any applicable fees — only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. 6. Cookies & Analytics

Essential Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain session security. These are required for the Service to operate.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze traffic and usage patterns on this site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data about how visitors use the Service. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and how to opt out, by visiting https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not currently display third-party advertising on this site. We reserve the right to introduce advertising in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe our advertising partners, the tracking technologies they use, and how you can manage your ad preferences — before any such advertising goes live.

7. Data Retention & Security

We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to delete your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time from your Profile page ("Delete Account"). If you are the Commissioner of a Room, contact us at info@nflbigpickem.com first so we can help transfer or close that Room. You can also request deletion by contacting us at info@nflbigpickem.com.

Upon deletion, your personal account data is removed. Some anonymized gameplay data (e.g. a historical pick record) may remain visible to other members of a Room you were part of, to preserve the accuracy of that Room's past results for the players still in it.
